A record is only worth something if you can trust it. This is how results get confirmed, how gyms get in, what we keep about fighters, and who decides.
Every bout says where it came from.
Each result carries its source and a confirmed or not-yet-confirmed mark. Nothing goes on a fighter's record without a coach saying yes.
Both gyms gave the same result, or it matches a trusted public record.
Everything else. It still counts, and it's shown, but you can see it hasn't been checked. Matchmaking weighs records that aren't confirmed yet lower.
We flag. We never block.
FairFightz puts the facts in front of you before you agree a fight: real experience across every sport, a stoppage in the last eight weeks, a long layoff, a big weight gap, a rematch. Then it gets out of the way. Every call is yours.
Every gym is checked before it's in.
A new gym waits as pending until a FairFightz admin has vetted it. Until then it can set up its roster, but it can't offer fights, enter results, message other gyms or see their contact details.

The gym's owner signs up and adds the gym's details and fighters.

We check the gym is real and runs fighters. Until then it's pending.

Once approved and paid up, the gym can match, message, host sparring and confirm results.
We keep as little as we can.
Listed with consent
A gym lists its fighters only once they've agreed. Fighters never need an account.
No fighters' contact details
We don't keep fighters' own phone numbers or emails. Gyms talk to gyms.
Expiry dates only
For licences and medicals we store the expiry date, so you know who's fight-ready. Never any medical information.
Juniors only in interclubs
Gym rosters are adults only. Juniors aged 8 to 17 can enter interclubs that accept them, with a parent or guardian's agreement, and are paired only with juniors close in age.
Contact details stay with members.
Contact details
Each gym chooses one matchmaking contact. Only approved, paid-up member gyms see it. A gym's contact details aren't shown publicly unless the gym publishes them itself.
Messages
Only the gyms in a conversation can read it. FairFightz staff read a conversation only if someone reports it, and every such read is logged.
Hosted in the UK
The site, database and files are hosted in London. One cookie, to keep you logged in. No advertising or analytics cookies.
Want your details off?
Any fighter can ask for their details to be removed or their results anonymised. Results stay as part of other fighters' records, but your name comes off them.
