Terms for member gyms

These terms are between FairFightz (fairfightz.com) and the gym that joins. By joining, the person signing up confirms they own or run the gym and can agree to them for it.

Membership

• One membership per gym: an owner login and up to three coach logins.
• £65 a year, paid by card through Stripe. The first 50 gyms we approve get their first 6 months free; after that it renews at the normal price unless cancelled.
• We check every gym before approving it. We can decline a gym without giving a reason.
• You can cancel any time from the Membership page. Your fighters' records stay on FairFightz; your logins and private data are deleted 90 days after you leave.

What you agree to

• Only list adult fighters (18+) who have agreed to be listed, by their real name, with an honest photo, record and declaration of their other combat experience.
• Only enter a junior (under 18) for an interclub whose host accepts juniors, and only with their parent or guardian's agreement.
• Make sure your fighters hold whatever licence, medical and insurance each show asks for. FairFightz doesn't check them; the promoter and officials do.
• Enter and confirm results honestly.
• Follow the rules for messages.
• Use other gyms' contact details only to arrange fights, interclubs and sparring. Never for marketing.

Matches, verdicts and flags

• The verdicts FairFightz shows (fair, check first, risky), class checks and safety flags are guidance worked out from the information gyms enter. They are not a guarantee that a bout is safe or even. The coaches, the promoter or host, and the officials on the day remain responsible for every bout.
• FairFightz records facts such as pulled-out fights and results not yet confirmed so gyms can trust each other. If you think something we show about your gym or fighters is wrong, dispute it from the fighter or fight. It shows as disputed while we check it, and we correct anything that's wrong.

Interclubs

• The host gym runs its interclub: the venue, insurance, officials, first aid, kit checks and the weigh-in. FairFightz is not a promoter or sanctioning body.
• Entry fees are paid to the host, not to FairFightz.

Suspension

We can suspend a gym or a login for breaking these terms, abusive messages, listing fighters without their agreement, or putting fighters at risk.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to a gym in any year is limited to the membership fee it paid us that year, and we aren't liable for injuries in bouts arranged through FairFightz, or for losses caused by information a gym entered.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
